Sorry for the long delay in blogging. I've been on my trip and back. It was one heck of a trip. My sister and her husband along with their two kids were at my parents house also. My niece (10) is fabulous, spoiled, but fabulous. My nephew is high functioning autistic and was a bit of a challenge. I didn't get to do half of the things I wanted to do, or see half of the people. It turned out I was much busier than I'd anticipated.
In any case I did manage to get a haircut and color along with an eyebrow waxing while I was there. If ever I think I have my vanity under control, a good haircut will show me how wrong I am. It's utterly ridiculous how good I feel with pretty hair and eyebrows.
No, I didn't tell my parents that I'm pregnant. Pretty impressive if you know me.
I'm jealous of Jennifer's iPod. I want one! Is it coveting if you don't begrudge them the object? Because I'm happy for Jennifer, I just want one too!
I remembered on this trip that going home reminds me that I'm not as witty, clever, or funny as I think I am.
Bridget got two new teeth.
I got to go sing Karaoke for my friend's birthday on Saturday night. That was a hoot! I got complimented on my voice, but I always sound better when my audience has been drinking.
I'm sure there's plenty more, but I'm jetlagged, worn out, and pregnant to boot! That's enough to make any woman a little short on patience.
