My best friend since Junior High delivered her son tonight. She was exhausted when I spoke to her, and so I don't have ALL the details. But baby A. weighed in at 8 lbs. 7 oz. and his mommy worked hard to bring him into the world.
Jennifer is such a special woman. We've been there for each other through everything. I don't think it's possible to put into words the amount of respect and love I have for her. She's family. And after losing Grace, I'm so excited for her to have a healthy baby in her arms. The only hard thing about this for me is that I'm here in Minnesota and she's there in California. I'm hoping to fly out Sunday for the day to see them. Are you up for a run to a local airport for a girlfriend pick-up, Heather??? :-)
Anyway, to all who read her blog, the full story will be there soon, I'm sure. But he's here. He made it. And I'm so proud of them!
