The last couple of days have been very lazy. I'm not sure if it's the medication or just the effects of pregnancy, but I've become fatigued and need a lot more rest. I've even been able to nap, which is rare in my house.
Reagan and I have been working on his lessons but we've lost some of the momentum we'd gained a couple of weeks ago. I have begun supplementing our lessons with educational computer games. He loves them, and I feel less guilty about limiting our school time.
Dominic has been working hard. I am so grateful for him. He can work from 8 in the morning to 11 at night and still ask what he can do for me when he gets home. So, I've been encouraging Reagan to pick up some of my housekeeping slack so Dominic wont have to. Reagan has been wonderful. My little boy is sometimes a little man, happy to help his mother and his family. He's very proud of his ability to contribute to the family.
I've been inside all day hiding from the weather. It's been 20 below here today. Tomorrow the high will be 6 below. It's just ridiculously cold. I was horribly spoiled by last years Winter and I think I'll be grateful for Spring.
The world outside is covered in white, and looks very beautiful. When the sun shines, it even looks warm. I know better. Our sliding glass door is frozen shut. I have begun driving Dominic to work because the brake fluid froze in the lines a few days ago, leaving him virtually without brakes as he drove home. All things can be a learning experience.
Overall, we're doing well. I think I'm going to really be happy when pregnancy is over, though.
