How The Kids Fared

Well, another Christmas has come and gone, and here I am still blogging about it all. This was a very special Christmas since we had Karina with us. The next time we'll have her for Christmas, she'll be 14! She'll probably want to fly all by herself by then!

So, last night we read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" as well as both accounts of the birth of Christ in the Bible before bed. We talked about Jesus, and what we thought that night would have been like. I think next year I'll add the question, "What would you have said to Our Lady, if you'd been there?" I'd just love to know the answer! Then we tracked Santa with Norad.

This morning it snowed a bit, and we sat around the Christmas tree opening gifts. I think everyone ended up with things they wanted.

Tonight I had to take Dominic and Karina to the airport. With weather screwing flights up all over the place, the flight they were supposed to take tomorrow suddenly filled up. So, tonight I'll sip my hot chocolate, finish cleaning up, and enjoy the quiet of Christmas night.

Happy Christmas to All!
