Happy Birthday Piper

Piper Turned 4 years old today. She's been waiting for her birthday for at least a month. After grocery shopping this morning, we sat down to celebrate.

She got a few presents, and had some yummy cake. Then we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese's for lunch. They had such a good time. They shared, took turns, played together, giggled, and enjoyed eachother's company. I looked at Dominic and asked if we could just freeze the moment. It was just one of those family moments where all the planets are aligned, and all is right with the world.

Then, Daddy and I fed tickets to the machine, and before we left, the kids picked out prizes. Reagan picked a whoopie cushion, which has been providing the kids with an endless source of scatalogical fun for the evening. We finished the evening with homemade dinner, and of course, more birthday cake.

Piper's been so much fun to watch, today. She's so happy to tell everyone she's four. She told Grandma on the phone, "See Grandma, I got four!" But poor Grandma couldn't see the four fingers she was holding up.

Four years ago, with only a few pushes, my baby girl came into the world. She was this tiny little 7 lb. 3 oz. baby with a full head of dark hair. I can remember how good she smelled to me. And now she's turning into quite the little mommy, and big girl. From nursing her dolls, to calling the new barbie her "daughter", to helping her little brother and sister. I'm so

proud of her.

Happy Birthday, Piper. God loves you. And Mommy and Daddy do, too.
