Even with a rip-roaring headache (that I'm fairly convinced was brought on by poor sleeping) my children manage to make me smile.
Piper: Someone took my distractions.
Me: Your distractions?
Piper: Yeah, and now I can't do it.
Me: Piper, what are "distractions"?
Piper: They're the things you read that tell you how to do something.
Me: Honey, I think you mean instructions.
Then again, maybe she's right, I'm very distracted by instructions. Can I consider this a vocabulary lesson?
