This is the third time this month that a big fat thunderstorm has knocked out power. It's a challenge, to be sure, to entertain children without the many distractions that electricity offers us. Especially when it's overcast enough to make reading books difficult. We spent the morning with one set of friends, and are spending the night with another. The electric company has promised power by 3 PM tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have something more enlightening to share then.
At least this is one more opportunity to teach about electricity, weather, and creative play!
